We managed to take 3 out of 4 from Atlanta at AT&T Park which I feel is a good start to the season. Omar Vizquel and Moises Alou are off to good starts but Noah Lowry has been placed on the 15 day DL and Kevin Correia has been recalled from the minors to replace him.
It will be interesting to see how the pitching holds up this year. Jason Schmidt seemed to have a better start this time around. On tuesday we will see if Matt Morris can follow up his first win with his first home win as a Giant. But still it is way to early to say anything about the season.
Giants have started their season and a quest for the Worls Series title. We split a pair of games in San Diego (one game was rained out). The good news from that season was the Matt Morris got his first win as a Giant. We then took the home opener against Atlanta yesterday which is good for getting the home fans behind the team this year. Unfortunately Noah Lowry had to leave the game in the 2nd inning with lower back pains and might join Armando Benites on the DL.
We watched "A good woman" which is set in Amalfi where we spent our vacation in italy last year.
