Lots of eating went on over christmas.

But we did interupt the eating for some walks (thanks Jack).

Time to continue the holiday celebrations after Chanukka comes Christmas. Sarah helped out decorating the tree in traditional style.



Also we got a nice sunset the night before christmas eve. Maybe it was Santa turning on the afterburners....

Yes, its that time of the year again.
Chanukkah is here and so are the Latkes. And Sarah makes the best ones.

Then Jack received one of his Chanukkah presents, not that he is aware of the holidays but he was happy for the bone anyway.

here are some pictures of the dog playing with his new activity toy where he has to spin the different levels to find the candy. After that he is just tired.



Today he also got a shower because it is so dirty outside.

Hi,
long time, no posts here. Here are however a few pictures and memories from out trip to the us in October. We started of going to Dayton to visit the family there. Sarah spent a lot of her time with Grandma Ginny and also got to celebrate her birthday with all the parents. First we went out to a restaurant and followed that
up with some lovely chocolate cake back at Maureen and Mary Anne's.


But all too soon we had to head out west to San Francisco where I were attending the Oracle Open World conference at Moscone Center. But before we went west we had to fly east to Pittsburgh to get a plane to San Francisco but that how it works out sometimes with airlines. We got to San Francisco and went to the hotel with the BART. We stayed at the Orchard hotel close to Union Square. We had to wait for our room for a couple of hours and went out on the town for our first exploration. The next day we went out to the Sunset district and Golden Gate Park. Here is Sarah walking around the Japanese Garden.

Saturday morning we went over to Berkeley to meet Ben and RD. Ben and Sarah went to high school togheter in Dayton and he is now attending Berkekey. We had brunch and then drove north over the Richmond bridge into Marin county and then down to Stinson beach.After that we headed over to the Golden Gate bridge and a lookout point.
After crossing the bridge we had lunch in the Marina district and then set out to find Ghirardelli Square. This led us to drive down the section of Lombard Street, the crookidest street in San Francisco. We followed Ben RD home and had dinner with then in Berkeley. We met up with them the next day again in the Mission district where we started off by having some mexican food and then went walking around the neigburghhood. Here are a couple of pictures of some buildings.

Sunday I also signed up for the conference and then spend monday, tuesday and wednesday in conference sessions and the showroom. Sarah went to Alcatraz and some other things while I was busy. One night we took a evening bay cruise that went under the Golden Gate bridge. Here is a picture of one of the towers on Alcatraz and one of the fog rolling in from Marin.

We also went to AT&T Park and took a guided tour which included press room, walk in the foul territory, visitors dougout, visitors indoor batting cage, visitors lookerroom pressboxes, luxerysuite and some very good sights and views.

So over all we had a great time in San Francisco.But we had to move on down the coast to San Diego to visit Jim and to meet up with Beth and Lewis who were out there looking for a place to stay when the move out there in december(very soon). We met up with Beth on friday morning and drove down the Coronado and walked around and had lunch at the Coronado hotel.
On saturday we went shopping at Horton Plaza and drove around downtown with Jim while Beth and Lewis went house/apartment searching. Sarah met up with Beth later to hang out and catch up. Me and Jim went to Steve Brown for a Halloween party (I went as a Swedish Goldmedal winning hockeyplayer). Sunday me and Jim played Golf at the San Diego Country Club in the morning and Sarah and Beth went to the spa for massages. We all met up later for dinner at P.F. Changs and unfortunately had to say goodbye for this time.

We had a great time!
